I already mentioned Baddinsgill estate a couple of posts back and I’ll be mentioning it again at some point. It’s a handy place to go for some moderately strenuous walking if you feel so inclined. I occasionally head up to the small car park the end of the Baddinsgill road and then make for the summit of West Cairn Hill, then come back along the high grassy ridge towards Wolf Craigs (OS grid ref NT 099 563) before decending over the heather back to the path near the reservoir.

I did this picture on one such outing. A small group of walkers were following a few hundred meters behind me so I found a nice composition in the rocks, got the camera out, and waited. The black labrador dog was in just the right position.
